Kochi: With just three days left for its maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) appearance, Kochi Tuskers Kerala are all set to launch the team logo and promotional video on Wednesday.
"All this would be done by the team promoters here tomorrow," the team's media coordinator said on Tuesday.
The promo video, directed by ace Bollywood director Priyadarshan, is expected to showcase the state's scenic backwaters and martial arts.
The key actors in the video include some of the prominent stars of the Tuskers team.
The first ever IPL match of the home team will be against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the newly refurbished 52,000-seater Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday.
Local boy Sreesanth, who returned home after being a part of the World Cup winning Indian squad, will be the star attraction of the team, to be led by Sri Lankan Mahela Jayawardane.
The other key members of the team include Australians Steven Smith, Mathew Klinger, Brad Hodge, John Hastings and hard hitting New Zealand batsmen Brendon McCullum.
The team is being coached by former Australian pacer Geoff Lawson.
